Hammock Stand Installation

Assembly

1. Insert two ends marked a into opposite sides of + connector. The connector is slightly curved, please connect these pieces into the sides that curve downwards towards the floor. Using two of the bolts provided. Push the bolts through the holes in the + connector and screw until tight into timber.
2. Insert bottom timber section marked b that has a rubber hooked foot at the end, into the + connector. The rubber hooked foot should be touching the floor. Screw timber section tightly in place, with another bolt provided.
3. Insert middle section piece marked c into last space of + connector. Screw in place with another bolt provided.
4. Join top of mid section c to top section d with I connector. Use 2 bolts provided to tighten firmly in place.
5. Make sure all sections are secure. The stand will have a slight give to allow the baby to rock while in hammock. The seventh bolt left over is a spare.
6. Place the circle ring of the baby hammock onto the hook at the top of the stand. NOTE: You may or may not wish to use the coil spring with the Miyo® wooden stand. The flexibility in the wooden stand is designed to provide the same spring motion that the coil spring does (when used with the love handle, door-clamp or hung from the chain or hook included with the hammock). Using the coil spring with the wooden stand will cause more bounce, and will lower the height of the hammock.
7. Place mattress into the body of the hammock. Ensure that the tip of the mattress is placed by top seam inside the body of the hammock.
8. Place wood separator about 14 inches (35cm) from the circle ring and the top edge of the hammock until all of the material fits snuggly into each groove.

Washing Instructions

Use mild natural soap solution on a dry soft cloth to clean all parts. Wipe away any moisture with dry soft cloth.

Storage and Maintenance

When not in use, please store in a dry area away from dampness. Check hardware monthly while in use.

When using Miyo® Hammock Stand:

• Always place on a solid, flat, level surface for maximum stability.
• Make sure the Hammock Stand is assembled correctly before attaching the Miyo® Baby Hammock and placing baby in hammock.
• Please sway or bounce gently.
• The maximum loading weight is 50kg (please note, Miyo® Baby Hammock and Miyo® Hammock Stand are designed for 0-9 month old baby up to 15kg).
• Do not climb on Miyo® Hammock Stand.
• Keep other objects away from hammocks range of motion while in use.
• Once a month inspect all the hardware and check stability.
• Please fill in the 5 year warranty form so we can continue to assist you should the need arise.
